Deleted email account beng spammed

I had an email account for my ex wife which I deleted about 10 years ago but I stated received emails that someone is using it it to try and join instagram and other sites many times appearing in my ntlworld in tray, I’ve checked in settings that it has been deleted so how can I get it permanently removed please

Welcome to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you have been having this issue with the email, its not what we want for our customers, you can firstly go about reporting this via our website here, can you also confirm if this is associated to an active account or not? If this is an open account we wouldn't be able to delete it but should be able to help you gain access again and stop anybody else from accessing.
