Cancelled VM after 24 years middle of Feb, spent two hours on the phone yesterday to find out that they had messed up the cancellation and things were cancelled, again, yesterday
Just received a list of equipment to return - which is wrong, it states one hub and we have two, it states two "Virgin Ethernet Booster" which we previously spent over 18 months arguing that we have never had, and three set top boxes
Anyone else had similar issues?
I'm assuming we are now going to spend the next 18 months arguing with VM about what we have and have not got!
If I were cynical I would say its all part of the ploy to make leaving VM almost impossible
Any ideas how to sort this - I've spent hours talking to them but cant get to talk to anyone higher up who can actually try to sort the mess out?

Sorry to hear about you have decided to leave us and the mess that is the returns process.
You did the right thing by posting on here as we have a very good relationship with the collections team.
It will be an easy fix from here, don't worry at all.
So I can get this resolved and arrange for any extra equipment removed from the account, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.

Cannot respond to your message as I get a dumb "invalid HTML in message" error message then a similarly dumb "You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later."
You make it impossible to cancel then impossible to respond - you really do live down to your reputation

Yep! Absolute farce. They say I have TV boxes but haven't had TV with VM for around 10 years!!! And yes on the messaging too - had exactly the same problem. Have just given up now. They'll get back the Superhub and that only, as that's all I have. Simples.
