Hi,
I'm new to VM, so much so that my service has not been installed yet. I do however have a couple of problems, the first is, when I set up my Virgin Media Account I mistakenly entered a wrong digit in my contact phone number, I've updated it several times to the right number in both the app and my web browser and it says the new number has been changed, however, the change does not stick.
Secondly, I had my installation booked for Tues 13th Feb, the technician arrived but did not carry out the installation because there was no signal from the telephone pole, he explained it would take a couple of days to fix. On my Virgin Media it says a technician should have called today (Fri 16th Feb), but no one showed. Will there be a reason why?

We're sorry to hear you've had some issues with updating your phone number within My VM and that your installation has been delayed.
Whilst we won't be able to expedite anything, we can check for the latest update for you and also ensure your contact number is correct on file.
In order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security so I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
