My elderly father uses blueyonder email account. However over the last 3 weeks he’s not received any emails. On checking for him I found that mysteriously his blueyonder emails were being forwarded to an outlook account which had the same email address apart from the end bit which was @outlook.com. I’m not sure if my father accidentally changed it or whether he has been hacked. I’ve stopped it forwarding to the outlook address and it’s back to normal sending emails to his blueyonder email. Just wondering why this happened. Any ideas anyone please? Thanks

Have you changed the password and security questions for the Blueyonder account?
One explanation is that your father's email address/password combo has been obtained by scammers and they have accessed the account and set up the forwarding.
If your father has used the same email/password combo for other services online you should also change these as well. Scammers will try other services once they have a particular email/password combo.
Each service should ideally have its own email/password combo.

Thank you, appreciated 😃 I’ve tried changing the password but the verification email doesn’t get sent! I’ll persevere!
