Billing Query

So we had a flood and had to turn all appliances and plugs off for over a week, does this reduce our bill for the month since we didn’t have access to the service until today? Nothing wrong with the equipment or anything but electrician kept it off for safety.

Alas no, there is no mechanism for this.

Whilst I sympathise with your predicament, in blunt terms - whether you use the services or not, is not likely to have been of any concern to VM.

Hey Kyra83,

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear that you've had a flood in your home and not been able to use your services but unfortunately, we would not be able to reduce your monthly bill.

Kind Regards,
