Account setup - verification email not working and cannot reset password

I've just (re)joined virgin media. 

I have this existing community account using <my email address>.

I've spent the last couple of days since installing my broadband (360 box to follow this weekend now I've acquired a longer coax cable) fighting with the wretched account setup system.

  1. I've used the same email address as my community account
  2. every account verification email apparently arrives too late to allow me to use the link in the email as it's apparently already timed out
  3. I attempted to reset my password, I apparently can't do that until I've verified my account (see 2)
  4. I can't use a different email address as I've already linked my account to an email

We're sorry to hear you've had some issues trying to complete the set up for your My VM account. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
