ok if I switched the emergency phone off at the socket?

On our wavelength

Hi, We have a Virgin emergency phone installed and it rings when our home phone rings.

Normally would not be a problem but we now have some one sleeping in the room where it is.

Would it be ok if I switched the emergency phone off at the socket whilst someone is sleeping and turned it on again.

Would it effect our other phones/broadband.

Is there some other way that I can mute it as we do not need incoming calls on the emergency phone.?

Thanks , Teekay2

Hi @Teekay2,

Thank you for your post and welcome back to our community forums. We're here to help.

Is it an EBUL that we've provided that you're referring to? Is it possible to place it elsewhere if it's causing a disturbance in its current location?

Thanks,
