Old Telewest landline socket box

Hi

I have an old Telewest telephone socket box in my hallway that I'm wanting to get rid of (planning to do some re-decorating soon). 

Does anyone know if it's ok / safe to do it myself? 

Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out to us vis our community and welcome, there are no issues removing this box as we no longer use these as long as not connected to cables you are still using.

Hi Chimpy,

You can remove any internal cables as long as it isn't connected to any active services, as we no longer ust the old telephone ports this is no longer needed.
