I’ve had a request in since 4/9 to port my landline number to Virgin. At the time I was asked to contact customer services to confirm the number to be ported and the current provider. I was told they had all the information needed and it could take up to 14 days.
The number has still not been ported and my services are due to be cut off from my previous provider in 4 days after which as far as I understand the number cannot be retrieved.
