Late Virgin Landline adoption -will it work now?

I ignored the switch to digital landline because I mostly use a mobile. But I wanted to know - if I now plug in the adapter thingy to the router & phone handset will they work or do I have to trigger it with VM somehow?

Does the landline work plugged into its old socket? Check settings of the hub, you must have <telephony enabled> for it to work via the hub.

I'm sorry to hear you have not yet switched, as Tudor has already asked, does the phone work at the wall?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve plugged my handset into the old phone socket - “check phone line” message has come up so I assume the old line is gone. Once it’s charged up I’ll try a call

How do I check telephony on my router please?
