Cannot phone landline to landline just get engaged tone can phone mobile nu.bers OK phoned virgin media and was told I now have to add the area code e.g.0208 is anyone else having this problem

This is a known error right now with Virgin Media landlines.  I think it's to do with the switch to Digital voice. got an email about it back in December.    I've been on the digital voice for about 4 years now and its never been a problem before.
