Landline not working

Hi, Landline (virgin box connected) not working, just noticed today but must have been out for over a week as had no calls come through.

Firstly I get a dial tone but whatever number I dial just results in an engaged tone. Both incoming and outgoing calls affected.

No outages showing/reported in area.

So tired of constant issues across all services and no solid fixes from VM.

We're sorry to hear the landline isn't working. 

Please ensure the phone is seated in the base correctly and powered on. 

Are you using an extension socket?

Are you able to try another handset?
