We have no dialling tone to a specific landline number and this is important as it is a family member we need to contact regularly. The person can call us on the landline and has no problems with receiving calls from other phones. Virgin Media have been in our road recently and we wonder if some setting has been changed. Please can you help?

Just to clarify, are you able to get to the stage whereby you can input the number? If so, what's happening exactly after you do so?

Thanks for quick response. Yes we enter the number and get nothing - no dialling tone. It was working fine until a few days ago.

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.
If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
