Sorry to hear you're having issues with your landline at this time.
Can you confirm how you have your landline set up? Is this connected into the router into the TEL 1 port or into your wall socket, in either the master or an extension please?

It’s set up exactly as the engineer left it tel1with a adapter, I have already phoned tec support and after 30 minutes of switching the hub on and off got cut off they sent a text saying it was working but it’s not

Ah okay. When you call out from your landline is the number showing the same number as you're dialling?
If you call a mobile the number calling should show, is this number the same number you're using for the incoming calls?

Yes the number displayed is the one I dial.

When you call your mobile from the landline, is the number showing on your mobile your correct landline number?
