Hello silverfox50.

Thanks for popping back on our community.

We can arrange a date for an engineer to attend and recable for you from here.

The removal might be easier done by yourself or the tradeemen that are fitting the new door.

It's just a matter of passing security first over a private message.

If you can check the logo top right of your screen that would be great.

thanks Gareth. London Doors who are doing the work won't touch any wiring or cabling. They are installing the new door on the 14th so it needs removing on the 13th and put back on the 15th by Virgin. Will there be charges?

I’m guessing the standard £25 fee. However there is no problem with removing the cable yourself. The phone cable is now redundant as it is VOIP over Broadband. No dangerous voltages either.  Problem might be ensuring VM reconnect on time?

Hello again silverfox50.

Thanks for replying.

We can check for an engineer to come out on the 15th to rewire the cabling for you, There will be a £25 call out fee applied to the next bill.

The request for an engineer to attend and remove the cabling would also incur a £25 call out fee.

I guess from what @Adduxi has advised, you're very welcome to remove the cables on the 13th yourself.

I did send you a private message to pass security and access your account as well.

Once that's been done I can check the booking for the 15th.

Thanks for those details silverfox50.

Now we've been able to arrange the appointments for your cabling, would you please let me know how the visits go?
