Hi i started with virgin lkess than a week ago and already its turning into a ,istake. i was with virgin about 6 years ago before and had this problem and they said its a utilization issue and will be fixed soon.

6 years later im 2 miles down road and it still seems to be the case, i linked my bqm and router status below is everything ok? the engineer did add a 9db auth thing so i dont know, thanks.

Your downstream signal levels are a little above the recommended level, but this may not be the whole reason for your problems.

Your BQM link is not working. Can you look at their help page and make sure it is set up correctly?

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

The link works. It shows unusually high latency for long periods. Do you have anything else running all the time, like streaming?

I think this justifies getting in a technician to adjust the signal levels, and you should show them the BQM trace because I think there is something else on your connection not showing up on these tests.

Someone else here with more experience may recognise the symptoms on that BQM.

It is a very strange BQM graph, are you quite sure that is your VM connection's Public IP ?

yeah i tripple checked , same ip in his then in speedtest.net too. i dont understand how its so strange. im pretty good with network stuff but im as confused as you

thats the thing there is only 2 of us in the house, theres 1 netflix thats used about 3 hours daily, 2 mobile phones and just 1 pc/ps5 when im gaming. during peak times i can get stutters every 30 seconds of so then early in a morning its 99% fine :(.

Is your PS5 using WiFi, or an ethernet cable? It will always work better when wired.
