Packet Loss

I always wonder why my son was swearing at the computer when he was as he said it kept 'lagging' Today he showed me a program that logs the packet loss for his games (League of legends and Rocket League) sometimes these were showing 100% packet loss making the game unplayable. I now have started playing DayZ which i to have been getting lag but just put it down to their servers. I have looked at peoples Router Status and some of my Power (dBmV) are a lot lower than others. Could someone have a look at this for me please and tell me if they are ok .

using the hub in router mode or its wifi can be the cause you can setup a BQM and see when your idle it shows fine

Hi @paul73mt, thank you for your posts.

We're sorry to hear about the problem you and your son are experiencing 😔

How have things been since you last posted?

Also, would it be possible to re-post the link to your Broadband Quality Monitor? It's showing an error message of "404 - Page Not Found".

Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your support @legacy1 👍

Regards,
Daniel

Yes, we need a live link to your BQM. And remember that your WAN IP changes when you switch between Router and Modem modes.

The brief BQM you posted at the start did not show the packet loss you reported.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.
