setting up Blueyonder email address in Outlook windows 10

So I have been trying to set up my Blueyonder email account to receive my emails using Outlook in Windows 10 after a crash and for the love of it I cannot get it to work.

So I open Outlook email and begin adding my Blueyonder email details I go in this order:-

Accounts

add account

Advanced set up

Internet email POP or IMAP accounts that let you view your email in a web browser

I'm then faced with

....................................

email address = *******@blueyonder.co.uk (my Blueyonder email I've had for 20+ years)

User name = Geoff ?? (I take it this is my name ) ?

Password = (e.g.) 123456qwerty!! (I recently changed my Virgin login password just in case it was that)

account name =  someone please explain ?

send your message using this name = Geoff (I take it they want my name again ?)

incoming server = please explain ?

Account type = please explain ? POP3 OR IMAP4 ?

Outgoing (SMTP) email server = please explain

then there's 4 tick boxes all which are ticked as default. I simply need to access Outlook not my browser which is limited to my needs.

I've been going round the bushes for over a day now typing in every conceivable detail I have to my name and all's I get is a triangle warning against my email address in Outlook.

Can someone please please please give me some advise before I tear out what little hair I have left, thank you

As well as resetting your email password have you also followed the instructions to generate an app password as this is needed when using an email client such as Outlook?  The steps to take are set out in the help page.

email address = *******@blueyonder.co.uk (my Blueyonder email I've had for 20+ years)
Yes, your full blueyonder.co.uk email address

User name = Geoff ?? (I take it this is my name ) ? No your username is your full blueyonder.co.uk email address

Password = (e.g.) 123456qwerty!! (I recently changed my Virgin login password just in case it was that)
Password is the generated app password which is in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

account name =  someone please explain ?  Whatever you chose to call the account in your Outlook setup

send your message using this name = Geoff (I take it they want my name again ?) Again whatever name you wish to appear on your sent emails

incoming server = please explain ? imap.virginmedia.com

Account type = please explain ? POP3 OR IMAP4 ? Choose IMAP4

Outgoing (SMTP) email server = please explain smtp.virginmedia.com

The security and port settings are set out in the help page
