hello. my ntl email has stopped working on my samsung s22 , it has been fine for months but occasionally stops working. i can access my ntl email online with my laptop no problem.
i have reset my phone and removed and tried to re-install ntl email on the samsung email app and i now only get this message " Couldn't verify account
imap.virginmedia.com isn't responding. You can continue the setup process, but you won't be able to send or receive emails until your account has been verified"
i have not messed with my phone setting and cannot understand why i get these problems evey 6 months or so.
Normally removing the account and re-installing it solves the problem.
Please advise

Removing and reinstalling the account on the phone is likely to have triggered the new requirements from VM to generate an app password for use with email apps.
