Hi, I am still having the same problem, may I request further assistance please?

More information required to help you. Are you having problems with both email client and webmail?  What messages do you get with each?

Hi, I'm not able to log in anywhere, it just hasn't been signed out of the mail app, though that's being discontiued at some point soon so i'd like to resolve this before that happens

@Tank621 Sorry, but your posts are not really explaining the issue you are having.

Which mail app is being discontinued? 

Do you have a current Virginmedia broadband account to which the the email address concerned is attached?

What happens when you try to log into the email address concerned at https://mail.virginmedia.com/

Hi Graham, the Microsoft Mail app which is being shut down for the new Outlook app (which I cannot get the email on), trying to sign in on the link you have provided just takes me to the 'Your Virgin Media Mail account is currently unavailable' page

You need to follow the instructions given on that 'unavailable' page to unlock your account by setting a new password through the My Virgin Media account for the email address concerned.  You should also go through the process to generate an app password for use with mail apps.

Yes, I am a customer. 

I can't see the options stated in Step 2 of the instructions under the account settings
