My phone started continually trying to send out an email at 4AM today. Had to turn phone off. When I switched the phone back on the same email was still trying to get sent. Tried deleting that email, but delete was greyed out. Eventually deleted my VM email app, this appears to have fixed the above problem. Unfortunately when I tried to reinstall the app back on my phone it stopped the process telling me my Email address was invalid. WHAT and HOW.
If there is no easy solution for this I will be moving on to Hotmail

What email app are/were you using on your phone? VM don't provide an email app. Can you still sign into the VM email address using VM webmail at https://mail.virginmedia.com/
