Hi.
For the second time in recent years my entire email history has gone missing. Have had an ntlworld.com account for 20 years and it is my main account. All I have is a few emails after 2.00 pm today. Nothing else. Please restore it. There is some important stuff I need urgently.
Best

I’m having similar issues in the fact that all of my sent emails have disappeared. I have been with NTL/Virgin for 20 years too. And as yet, no-one can provide an explanation or solution to fix the issue

Hi. Just spent half an hour talking to VM technical support who couldn’t help and just took a complaint from me. I’ve lost the lot, emails in, sent, junk, archive etc. Only have a few incoming emails from 2.00pm today. I did notice it was difficult to log on for emails - the system hung for ages.
Am really hoping they can restore everything like they did last time. I ended up with masses of duplicates, but that was better than nothing.
Let me know if you get sorted. Good luck.

Same on my end. However if I connect to the Internet using mobile data, everything works as normal
Try https://mail.virginmedia.com/ using mobile data, either on your phone or via your PC by using a hotspot on your phone to signal a network and connecting to that instead of normal wifi (but making sure your phone is also connecting only via mobile data)

tried logging on to https://mail.virginmedia.com/ using mobile data , times out on pc, and just hangs on my phone, this is very worrying

Hope it’s now working for you. Seem to have inboxes back now, except emails received yesterday afternoon, which I can live with. Anyone have any ideas how to back up VM emails or easily switch to a new email service? I don’t think I can go through this again.

Same here, all back showing as expected. Very worrying this though , I too would be interested in a potential back up plan!
