Having had multiple issues where VM account has been hijacked, moved in-laws account to an alternate email address. Now trying to close the ntlworld.com address. It's no longer the Primary address on the account. Followed the instructions "Sign in to the primary account at My Virgin Media, head to Account Settings and then Account Details. " but the ntl account isn't listed. Any further suggestions please?

@ilw182 If it isn't listed there either as the Ntlworld email address or, if you have changed the username to a third party email address, the third party address then the account is orphaned.
The VM Forum Team should be able to arrange for it to be deleted when they reach this thread in a day or so. When they do they are likely to send you a private message to clear security for the Ntlworld email account.

Thanks for reaching out to us @ilw182, and welcome back to our Community Forums.
I'd be happy to take a closer look into this one for you, but would have to advise that if you're not the account holder for the active or former Virgin Media subscription, any administration for the E-Mail address can be completed.
