Not receiving emails from groups.io

AlpenDX
Tuning in

Since sometime yesterday (19 Sept) I have stopped receiving all emails from all the groups on groups.io I subscribe to.

Some posts appear in Bounces on my account on groups.io  e.g.

mxin10.virginmedia.com: 421 mx1-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services mx1-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services MXIN107 Connections from your IP 66.175.222.108 have been disallowed by admin policy. ;id=ix4JqAZVrJymN;sid=ix4JqAZVrJymN;mta=mx1-prd-nl1-vmo;d=20230920;t=151639[CET];ipsrc=66.175.222.108;

Does this mean Virgin Media is blocking emails from groups.io in error and how do I get them to stop blocking them? The messages are not being blocked by other mail providers apparently.

Thanks!

Having the same issue since end of February

Was on phone to VM Help for over an hour yesterday, but got the impression they did not understand the issue, however, since that call, I have received 3 emails from Groups.IO.

Seems to be an active topic on the Groups.IO help board, and issue seems limited to Virgin Media domain email addresses

This is happening to me all the time for the last 2 months and is extremly annoying, Virgin media have had more than enogh time to sort out this issue

Also happening to me.  It looks as though it was once back in September 2023 and several times since mid-February.

Reading around this, it looks as though this issue was first raised with VM back in September and a solution was put in place whitelisting some ip addresses starting 66.  From February, my bounced messages are from 45.79.227.220 as are Mr Martin's reported on Tuesday.  The solution may be as simple as VM whitelisting this, too.

This hs happened as you say previously and they put in a temp solution that worked but obviously affecting many users, even Unbouncing in IOGROUPS does not work, Same error as previously

Hi @OldAdam

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community forums, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry to hear that you have faced this issue with your service, I'd be happy to take a closer look into this with you via a private message.

I will pop you a PM across now, please keep an eye out for the envelope at the top of your screen alerting you to a new message.

Still waiting any response from Virgin Media, despite many posts

Having refreshed attention to this issue nearly a month ago, I got bored waiting for a solution and just went to the messages on groups.io. Unbouncing on groups.io didn't solve it. It's beyond me how VM don't take responsibility for this and solve it permanently. I'm inclined to just dump my ntlworld address for all services. It's becoming more trouble than it's worth. Thing is, that's the thin end of the wedge.
