I’ve lost access to my emails today.
I’ve got a message saying my account has been locked and I need to reset my password. However I’ve followed the steps and can’t do this.
I don’t have any Virgin services. I just have a Virgin.net email address.
Has my account been deleted? I wasn’t given notice if this.

There's the rub - no Virgin Media services means no entitlement to use a Virgin Media provided email address.
Virgin Media do not now provide an email address to any new customers, "orphaned" email accounts (no associated VM account) are being deleted and only old customers still have access to legacy email accounts.
It's highly unlikely you will be able to have your email account reactivated unless you are really lucky.
