VM returning time-out messages on email again this evening. Also server encryption errors. I've changed nothing!

Yes, appears to be issues accessing via email clients. VM webmail access is working
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs

Mail seems to be intermittent as I can access my VM web mail but it doesn't appear to be receiving, although I can send mail to my gmail account. Outlook on phone getting authentication error.

I have a blueyonder email address and earlier I couldn't access outlook or webmail but now I can access both. However I can send out from both but am not receiving mail as yet but maybe there is a backlog.

I'm unable to access my blueyonder email account online this morning. It just keeps timing out. Can anyone assist? Is it down? Is this another major issue like before?

Virginmedia email continues to be unfit for purpose.

I've now found out what the issue is for me. It's suddenly stopped liking my VPN. If I switch that off it works, with it on it doesn't. How ridiculous to allegedly increase security, as VM claim, yet it results in having to disable a VPN, which could be considered to be additional security itself.
