Each email address now has its own My VM account
Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.
https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password
If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

So does that mean that any emails going to the NTLworld account automatically goto my virginmedia email address, of so do I still need to keep the NTLworld email address?

No each email address is separate and has its own My VM account and mailbox.

Hi Graham,
I've just spoken to VM contact centre and they advise that the .ntlword.com email address have been closed down and no longer supported by VM. Fortunately Dad does not his, so that won't be a problem.

Unfortunately you have been told a pile of rubbish by the contact centre. The only ntlword email addresses that get closed down at those not attached to current Virgin Media broadband accounts.
