Email activation on MS Outlook

Hello, I kept my Sky mail suffix when I moved to Virgin and am using it on the Apple Mail app. Virgin also created an equivalent mail address with the suffix @virginmedia.com. I've bought MS365 and want to move it to Outlook. I can get the @virginmedia suffix working using the app specific password and a Gmail account I have too. But for the life of me, I can't configure it to accept my old Sky mail address that has ported across to Virgin. I'm even considering just using my Gmail account, but I don't know how to set the divert from the Sky suffix. Anyone know how to do this?

@gubstar  Your sky email address cannot be 'ported across' to Virgin media.
