I have had an email telling me that my email account is going to be closed because it is not attached to any Virgin Media account but I still have a TV and Broadband account with Virgin Media and do not want to lose my email account as it is the only one I have. I have had this email for 20 years. How do I attach the email address to my account?

but you need to discuss the specific details with a VM forum person who can go through it with you for your individual circumstances. One should reply to your topic within a few days.
