Changing Email Password on ntlworld

Hi, how do I change my ntlworld.com password - it’s still active but I have a new account number as we moved addresses so the account linked to my old email address is no longer valid

Each email address now has its own My VM account

Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.

Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Account Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

the problem is i have had these accounts for over 30 years,  i left Virgin to elsewhere, came back after 18months after a better deal and all the old account still work, however they aren't list on the new account number. there lies the problem and probably exactly the sae as other writing in this forum.

I did actually ring and spoke to the customer support, they more or less said the same they are not attached, hoever i do have regular emails in and i can also send out, so can i not add the old ntlworld ones in the account settings?

I might add the advisor didnt know and passed me onto another advisor, who after sometime also didnt know and said would ring me back in about a hour, that was 3 1/2 hrs ago now, of course i am off out to work shortly

@v1de0man  In which case the Ntlworld email address concerned will be in the category of orphaned accounts.  https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/Orphan-Email-accounts/td-p/3492073/jump-to/first-unread-m...

There is a very small chance that if the email address concerned is still alive on VM's system then a move and transfer to your current account may be possible.  This would require the old and new accounts to be in the same customer name.  The process would also delete any email addresses set up on the current account.

A VM Forum Team member should be able to advise further when they reach this thread either later today or tomorrow.

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. 

Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner. If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.

Hi I’m also having the same problem, my 18 year old ntlworld.com has been hacked and the password has been changed. I have no way to access it right now since I’ve been living in the United States for the past 8 years and this email I was still using until I got hacked a week ago

Hi i still use my ntlworld email address.it asked me to sign in again the other day and now i cant get back onto it. I have tried adding it to outlook and it just shows a blank page. Can anyone help thankyou

Sorry to see you've been having issues with accessing your emails, this certainly is odd how it is just showing a blank page 🤔

Just to confirm, are you able to sign into your mails via webmail here? If so, can you please try resetting your password to see if this helps?
