My blueyonder email account has suddenly decided it needs a password to work. The password is already in the settings. I’m not technical at all and haven’t got a clue what to do. I phoned VM helpline and they talked me through a very strange way of getting into my emails. In future I have to open the VM app and sign in then go to the ‘sign into my email section’ and sign in that way. It seems a very longwinded way of seeing my emails. They also made me change my email address to a Hotmail address to get blueyonder emails through. Please help

There are two ways in which you can access an e-mail account. You can do it either via webmail, using this link here, or via a client app (like Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail).
Have you been through the process of setting things up so you can access your e-mails from a client app?
Advice on how to do so can be found in this article here. Please refer to the section entitled "Setting your app password to use an Email app".
