Adding my Fathers Virginmedia email to my Virginmedia a/c

Hi 

I'm hoping somebody can offer some advise!   My father has recently moved into residential care.   As part of the move, he will be ending/closing down his Virgin Media broadband, TV etc.  He is concerned that he will lose his email (which he will), but I was wondering if I could transfer his email to my a/c.    I understand that I can have 5 x email a/cs.  Currently I only have two (personal and professional) so I do have "spare"     The only other option appears to be:  to close everything down in his name and start again, in which case he would probably go with  GMail

    Unfortunately no to both. 

    VM have stopped issuing new email accounts. There is a process by which an email address can sometimes be moved, but it would replace your own existing account. Get him that Gmail account.
