Been with Virgin 16 years and they tried to triple the price on me, last year they randomly called me and gave me all they have to offer without paying anything extra, they said its a loyalty offer so I accepted, this year they tried to triple the price, told them I need nothing but the internet, the guy on the phone was so rude and arrogant i wish i recorded him and put him on youtube and twitter so everyone can listen to how some customers get talked to.
the retentions manager removed everything and got the price down to £85 and said if i dnt keep the phone line the price is higher..
still £30 increase from what I am paying. The woman spend 30mins putting me on hold pretending to get a supervisor when in fact blatantly she was googling my door number and post code to check what offers and speeds were available so she could dispute when I say i am moving to another ISP. All the compare websites show virgin as the fastest.
when she tried telling me this I just proved her wrong with EE mobile broadband 6G router which gives me 900mpbs when cabled in download and she was stuck had nothing to say but oh thats mobile not broadband, i replied so its a router and is as fast and I can move it or take it with me where ever I want its portable.
she gave up as she did not expect that with her googles and just cancelled.
already using the EE does everything I meed and is way cheaper and stays on even if there is no power as it has a battery.
cant believe they tried to do me dirty after 16 years because of that rudeness I am going to cancel my virgin pure and my sons virgin sim card.
