We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with trying to play things through the Sky Sports app. Can you let us know the following so we can help further?
- Does this seem to be happening with everything?
- Have you been able to successfully use the app previously?
- Please ensure you are running the latest version of the app.
- Do you get a different result when trying to play through the Sky Player on a laptop/PC instead?
- Make sure your device software is also up to date with no pending updates needed.

I have the same problem on an iPad, has previously worked
- can go in on my iPhone and watch ok
- I get this for all live sports ‘video not available a problem has occurred please try later’
- currently only two devices listed for sky sports us, so not over the limit
- I am tethering to through my iphone, it has previously worked when tethering as use a lot when away camping

Thanks for confirming the details billgoddard, we appreciate you making us aware of this and welcome to the community. Of the two devices registered, is the iPad the only devices getting the error message?

This is a common message when Sky is blocking the connection. They are VERY strict about the way the app is used. If you are using any kind of VPN, or trying to cast to a TV from a portable device they will block you from using it.
Thanks nodrodg, irritatingly intermittent as it works on many occasions. Small screen it is in the camper.
