Connection keeps cutting out during gaming

My son plays games on his PC and he says he keeps cutting out, sometimes as many times as 6 times in an hour.

 

I would like to test our line for jitters etc, what is the preferred site for these tests for Virgin? 

Guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    For connectivity:

     

    Setup a Broadband Quality Monitor and post a link to your live graph. It monitors your connection 24/7 and provides diagnosis of any underlying issues

    If the PC is using WiFi that’s not good. Any gaming is far better with an Ethernet cabled connection.
