Connection Issues - Dropped packets and variable latency

Over the last few months, I've been experiencing dropouts and latency issues on my Virgin home broadband, which impacts wired and wireless connections. This particularly affects WiFi calls, Video calls, and streaming. We recently switched over to Virgin from Vodafone and are using it in MODEM mode.  

The problem was particularly bad when work was being done on our local network (fitting fibre). I've had multiple technician visits who have checked all the connections, (replacing some due to observed poor terminations), fitted a new Hub 5 and run numerous tests on power to the house and router, which they report as within normal limits, noting that we are several hundred meters from the street cabinet.  For a few weeks after the last visit, things were markedly better, but then it deteriorated again, and we now get daily problems.

One difficulty is that the problem is intermittent, so whilst all may be good for a few days, we then have days of problems.  I'd really appreciate any help at all getting to the root cause of this, as I find it very difficult getting hold of anyone via Virgin Customer Services to do more than book a repeat appointment, eventually resulting in a technician visiting to repeat the same things!  

Based on advice in other posts that I've read, I'm attaching here the log details, which I'd be really grateful if someone could kindly review and provide feedback on what I should do!

    Yes intermittent are hard cases as your in modem mode BQM would be to your router/device so cable could be a  problem or your router/device.

    it be best to get a new cable and hook a PC to the hub in modem mode you can get another NIC PCI-e/USB to do internet connection sharing with your router as you test BQM to your PC. Or put hub in router mode but then this might show fine but the LAN ports are bad on the hub

      thanks, sorry: I mis-read the hub's pages: I'm using it in Router Mode.   All the stats/tests were with the unit set up like that.

      (we were previously using Virgin in Modem mode with a separate Router; replacing that setup with the new Hub in Router mode seemed to improve overall latency, but I'm still left with the variability and drop outs shown in the BQM pictures)
