Verification email never arrives in time.

I know this is an old thread but I’ve experienced the same problem when using an app (not VM related) to order things. They send a verification email before accepting the order. These verification emails were taking between 1 to 5 hours to come through, obviously way out of time for validity. I created a new Google Mail account just to try. Lo and behold after changing my email address on the app I got the verification emails through almost immediately. I am in the process of moving all important accounts over to my new Google email and will ultimately cancel all my Virginmedia accounts and services.

    Which emails are these, what websites are they coming from?

    How often has this been happening, is it only recently?

      Recently it was happening on website from the Haven Serve app when ordering food delivery. I have previously had the same issue from the Mercedes Me website when attempting to log in. As I said I’ve created a GMail account and am in the process of moving all my emails to that account.
