Unable to reset email password

We have two  ntlworld email addresses mine is working now after putting password in. My husbands asking him to put password in but he can't remember it and appears there isn't a way of resetting..he has important contacts inc solicitors, docs etc and need access asap. Help needed please

    Are you getting any error when attempting to reset the password?

      Good evening. We have been on telephone for a couple hours this afternoon, first to virgin media 150 no, then passed on to technical support.  Still getting nowhere. Think the chap gave up in the end and told us to leave 48 hours then try again. Can't see anything being resolved as have tried for 2 weeks now.There is no option to reset password. Keeps asking to link virgin media account but won't let us. We are desperate as dealing with a house sale and all communication is mailto:[REMOVED]@ntlworld.com and very frustrating.  Also docs info, theatre tickets come through that email. Any help desperately needed

        Hi lyndasteve 👋.

        Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with a password reset. If you have set up your account accordingly along with the Single Sign On (SSO) options we will be able to gain access via other methods such as a passkey or secondary security questions that will allow for access where you are able to change your password. If you have attempted this a number of times it may be possible that you have locked your account, to unlock this would require a secondary email address that is not linked to your current email such as Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail.

        Using a secondary password as additional security will allow for unlocking of your account and set up a more secure password via the generator and allow for access. Please let us know if you have exhausted these efforts and further require our assistance via private message. There will be a private message waiting for you should you need to respond, please look out for the envelope on the top right of your web browser or if you are using a mobile device, it will be located under your profile icon.
