Unable to access ntlworld.co emails

Since this new VM02  log in was introduced last week, I have been unable to access my ntlworld emails

When I try to sign up for the new VM02 log in, I enter my email address and password ( that I have had for several years)  and get a message  "password not verified".

I have tried the  "forgotten password" to possibly try to reset my password .... enter my D.OB. / memorable place ..... I then either get message that my info is wrong or the screen just scroll searching then times-out.

Can any-one please help, as at 70 yrs old, I am not computer literate and am getting desperate, as I have Hospital info in my emails

    I just had to go through all that rigmarole to be able to find my account number.
    I had to give another email address to get a link to verify. Lucky it was my email address and not someone trying to break into my account?
    Then I had to link this O2 ID to my Virgin account.
    That eventually gets you to a page where you can select your email, which takes you to your email account.

    So essentially, you need yet another email address before you can log in. A gmail address would be best, as you appear to be using web access only?

    If you know your login details? then download something like Thunderbird

    I have always preferred to have my emails on my PC and web access as a backup method.
    If you only have a phone/tablet and Android, then I use K9-Mail
    If iPhone, look for an email client there.
