Two active virgin.net addresses on one account

We have two active virgin.net email addresses that are linked to one long-standing active virginmedia subscription (TV, broadband)

In order to migrate to the new system I have set up two logins on the new VMO2 system.

I now need to link each email address to the new login. However it asks for an account number and area code. Are both addresses linked to the same account number?

I am cautious to proceed so I dont lose either account. There is 20+ years of messages and I can't afford to lose access to either.

Until a couple of weeks ago both addresses worked fine.

Please help as I dont know where to get support on this.

VM support used to be excellent but now its an endless loop on the phone.

    Have you really got 20 years of emails on those accounts, with no backups at home? If so you are taking one heck of a risk, particularly with the current problems and uncertainly hanging over VM emails.

    Wow, I had to do a double take at that statement… As noted above, I hope you have offline backups of this stuff.  That’s a lot of trouble just waiting.

    We have help here in regards to VMO2 ID's and a whole host of queries. There is a section here for associated accounts. Just to confirm though, all emails on this account would be under the same account number and area code.
