Sending to my ntlworld email bounces with recipient's domain does not exist - [logged under F011775373]

Several people have reported (and I've just tested) that sending an email to my ntlworld acount bounces with:

Your message couldn't be delivered. The Domain Name System (DNS) reported that the recipient's domain does not exist.

I can log into my email as normal and can send from the account. Anyone else having this and any ideas and when it might be fixed?

    Has this been reported on X (twitter) social feed? It may invoke an initial response?

    Getting the same problems, this has happened before, last time I changed my password, as this was suggested, but did not sort the issue out, having checked the service status it shows all ok, when clearly it isn't VM need to get moving on fixing it, as it is effecting many users.

    Same DNS /MX issue with ntlworld.com email. I tried contacting support/chat. Mary said she didn't have access to ntlworld.com so unable to help. I suggested she escalate the fault but got the standard "please dial xxx" .

    Having the same problem - just to clarify, still a Virgin broadband customer, so it's not a "switching away and losing the account" issue.

    I'm having the same problem and it's being caused by V.M not authenticating the ntlworld domain:

        SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined end of data:
        550-5.7.26 Your email has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated.
        550-5.7.26 Gmail requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM.

    Following the report by Phil864, I have checked and the issue is blocking all my emails to gmail email addresses as well as preventing receipt of some, but not all, incoming emails.  Emails from outlook email addresses are definitely failing to reach me.  Advertising material is still getting through to me.

    yep same here - spoke to support - they said was my client (outlook) LOL what do they know, definite issue with ntlworld.com - they've probably forgotten to renew the domain certs LOL

    Same issue here, however I can email from virginmedia.com to ntlworld.com
