Re: Blueyonder Email Addresses to be deactivated?

Hi there. Just last night my blueyonder email account no longer updating. I still have a virgin media account and it is showing when I go into my email settings as “the entered credential or authentication information does not work or are no longer accepted”

nightmare again I imagine, please can anyone help. I’ve spent 4 hours updating all my emails in my apps but still have lots to update like insurances etc. much appreciated

That's never going to happen because no one on the forum knows, or even wants to know, your email address!

You need to reset the password for the problem email account account and the information you need is the link that jpeg1 posted but to keep it as simple as possible for you:

If you  know the password for the problem  email account you can reset it by:

      1. Signing into its My Virgin Media account by entering the problem emall address and its password here - https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media
      2. Then go to Account settings, then My Virgin Media Account details
      3. Then in the "Security and Sign in details" section press Edit to the right of "Password" and follow the instructions.

Two other things to bear in mind:

Firstly, another change VM have made recently is that, as part of the password reset process, you will have to specify a non VM email address to become the Username for that VM account.

Secondly, the error message you have giving shows that you are using the Unified Mail option in VM webmail to access the effected email account.

That means that you will be affected by the other major change that VM have made.  You will also need to generate a separate Mail app password to use in the Unified Mail settings in your webmail account. You will see an option to generate a Mail App password in the My Virgin Media account. Without a Mail App password, the Unified Mail option will not work for the effected email account.

Once you have an App Password select Edit (as highlighted below) and then enter it in Password fields to resolve issue.
