Old ntlworld.com email address

I have an old ntlworld.com email address which we where using but has suddenly stopped working. when we tried to sign back in it says password not recognised. The problem we have is that the email address is no longer associated with an account! it was a residential account but we where changed to a commercial account so I am unable to request a password change. Can anybody help please?

    Do you think that once the email address has been fully closed that if anybody emails it will they be told it is no longer working?

      I wonder if I would be able to open up another residential account and have the email associated with it?

    VM has been very busy recently closing down mailboxes that are not linked to a VM residential broadband service.

    In all likelihood, your mailbox is in the process of being deleted.

    In addition, there has been some further VM 'confusion' in the last few days regarding email access when VM switched to a combined login ID with O2 which has caused a lot of disruption.
