ntlworld account full of spam

When Virgin media migrated email accounts a couple of years ago I no longer had access to out of office, blocking emails, filter rules, blocklist or forwarding address. My account became such a miasma of total rubbish I changed over to gmail. I cannot delete the ntlworld account even though my account primary email has been changed- it does not give me the option to delete it in my Virgin account settings. Help please

    I don't think a VM mailbox can be deleted if it is part of the primary account.

    We would need to advise that we would not be able to delete primary E-Mail accounts on our services - only secondary or if you have since disconnected from Virgin Media's service.

    Can you please confirm if you are indeed still an active user?

      I still have Virgin Media Broadband- I tried to switch to another provider but the copper phone lines to my block of flats no longer exist (replaced by Nynex/Cable and Wireless cables many years ago) There is no fibre in my area!!! I have no choice but to stay with Virgin and their continued inflationary prices. Looks like I'll have to drag along the ntlworld email account- I cannot even add a forwarding address. Thanks for update
