No option to generate app password
Hi,
I have recently swapped over to a new phone and need to add my virgin media email to my Gmail app. It tells me that the password I am using is incorrect and from the looks of it I need to generate a specific one to use on an external app however I do not have any off the settings listed in the general instructions on how to do this.
I did a live chat with support and after an hour and 20 minutes of being generally unhelpful they said that they had referred the issue to the IT department who would contact me ... That was nearly 2 weeks ago.
To save me the headache of trying to speak to someone on live chat again how can I resolve this?
