I've just received an email informing me that my Virgin.net will be closing next week.
I work for Virgin Atlantic and have had this email address for decades! Is there anyway I can somehow keep my Virgin.net email account?

The only way is if you have a VirginMedia broadband account that is held in the same name as the orphaned virgin.net email address.
Virginmedia has no connection with any other Virgin company, apart from the V word.
Ring Virgin and put in a formal complaint. I am currently on hold for the second night in a row. Waiting for a manager to call back. Absolute disgrace.

The mailbox needs to be linked to an active broadband service otherwise it will be removed unfortunately.
If you have a current and active service with us in the same name, let me know and I can assist in transferring the impacted mailbox over.

Many thanks for your response. I need to keep this mailbox, but unfortunately I can't get Virgin Media broadband in my area. What other alternatives can you offer please?
