Is it possible to encrypt/ password protect a Virgin Media email ?

Google Mail offers the option to send 'Confidential' emails  but I cannot find this option in the VM webmail client.

Is this option not available on VM ?

    VM email struggles to function for the most basic, simple task of sending/receiving conventional emails reliably.

    The idea that it might have a 'confidential' function seems quite unlikely and, even if it did, it would be unlikely to be a trustworthy method for actually sending anything confidential!
