How do I do it? There's nothing obvious on my Virgin Media account home page.
Some people still use this old address even though I moved from it over 10 years ago. I need to close it so they receive a "does not exist" message.
I've set up an auto-responder for the time being, but it would be better if the account was closed.

The relevant section that you meed to access is not on the home page:
If this Blueyonder account is listed there should be an option to delete it on the right hand side.
If it's not listed it means that this Blueyonder account was set up under another VM broadband account rather than your current one and therefore it can only be deleted by VM.
One of the Forum Team (VM support staff) can arrange to get that done for you. One of the Team will contact you in the next day or so and send you a Private Message.

The account is very old, going back to TeleWest days - I've been a customer since the early 90s and I think blueyonder was launched in the early 2000s.
