Help with attaching email to another

Could someone please tell me in simple terms, how I can attach an email to another so that I can send confirmation of my proof of no claim. I'm really struggling with this, and if I don't do it soon, they will cancel my car insurance. Please bear in mind that I am 80 so do need simple terminology. I have a blueyonder address. Thank you.

Rather than attaching the original email to a new email the simplest way is to "Forward" the original email of proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB) to the relevant organisation which needs to see it

To do that using the VM webmail service, simply

    1. Select the original email confirming your proof of NCB
    2. Click on "Forward" from the "Reply, Reply all, Forward, Delete" list
    3.  A new window will open.
    4. In the "To" field you need to enter the relevant email address of the organisation which needs to see this proof of NCB.
    5. If necessary, amend the "Subject Line" text to something more relevant so that your new insurer knows what the email is about.
    6. Then compose your reply and explanation to them in the space above the text of the forwarded email.
    7. Once you are happy with that, click on the "Send" box at the bottom of the screen.

There are ways to attach the original email to a new one but all you really need to do is to forward that original email to your new insurer.  That's what I would do.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you. I have just tried your suggestion and will let you know if it's been successful.

It worked. I have had confirmation this morning that my NCD has been received and accepted. I'd never been asked to upload information like this before so had no idea how to do it. Thank you so much, it is possible for an old dog to learn new tricks.

No problem, glad I could help.

My background was in the insurance industry so I was confident that you would have no problem with the forwarded email being accepted by your new insurer.

By the way, I don't think age comes into it when it comes to learning new tricks.
