Had to change VM username yesterday to 3rd party email address, now lost emails in various folders
Afternoon, I have spoken to VM 3 times since yesterday lunchtime, and problems still not resolved.
I've always had/used a Blueyonder.co.uk email address as my main email address, however have always accessed each day & saved my emails in Windows Mail account which was linked to my VM email account, rather than logging in & using my VM email account.
Yesterday, I had to change my VM Username to a non-VM email address, & change the password, per call to VM. to access my VM account & emails account, and I was told that my VM email could no longer be linked to Windows Mail or any other 3rd party email provider anymore.
As of yesterday lunchtime, my Windows Mail account no longer updates & is no longer linked to my VM email account. The problem is that many emails I had saved in various folders in my Windows Mail account have disappeared, however not from all the folders, only most of them ?.
Is there anyway to retrieve the saved emails that have disappeared from my Windows Mail account ? Thank you very much for any advice, suggestions etc on what to do next.
Confirm missing folder have not been unsubscribe from by sign into webmail and::
- select ⚙ > E- Mail > Change IMAP subscriptions…
- select ▸ until all folder views are expanded
- select ☐ until all are ☑, i.e. all folder are selected
- select Save
- select ✉ (located top left)
- press Ctrl + Shift + R to reload page
- confirm any newly subscribed to folders are shown in webmail
If the missing folder are shown in webmail then close and re-open Mail app to see if they reappear there.
